Hello
Hi, thanks for visiting. Annika here. I’d love to tell you a little about my professional and personal experience in this section, so here it goes!
From low budget to 10M+ budgets, I’ve line produced and supervised in this industry for 15+ years and have had the opportunity to work as an LP in commercial, music videos, and documentary projects and as a creative producer in narrative film.
In 2011, I graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A in Journalism and Film Studies.
In 2017, I took a break from production to pursue my MFA. In 2019, I graduated from the prestigious Stark MFA Producing at University of Southern California.
I’ve participated in the WIF creative producing mentorship program and made it to final selection rounds for the Sundance Producer’s Lab with two narrative projects. I also have award winning short and feature film projects with distribution and festival runs.
I’m dedicated to working with filmmakers in the action, sci-fi, and character driven drama/comedy spaces.
Now, enough about work.
Because personality matters too.
I value communication, hard work, transparency, and supporting / fostering positive work environments.
I love producing and creative problem solving and dare I say…budgets!
Whether it’s cooking up new ways to approach client needs on a tech, car, or food commerical, or developing and executing on an independent short / feature, these opportunities keep me motivated and excited to show up each day as a Producer.
Play you say?
Traveling is of great importance to me. I grew up a “military brat”, mostly in San Diego, CA and also in Indiana. I’m certain this contributed to the consistent need to experience new cultures and places. I feel grateful for the privilege to do this in my work and personal life.
Hiking, snowboarding, pickleball, animals, exploring new restaurants, live music, film going, yoga, bowling, cooking, volunteering, and reading fiction and non-fiction are all activities I truly enjoy.
I’m also a beginner level Spanish and Italian speaker.
Thanks for making it to the end of my bio, hope to work together or grab a coffee very soon!
